President

Mrs. Luna has been highly active in promoting health and wellbeing worldwide and working to remedy healthcare inequality in diverse populations. She serves as the current president of Arend & Elias.

Vice President

Mr. Palm is co-founder of Arend & Elias Institute for Global Health, Innovation and Research and currently serves as the vice president.

Financial Director

The The Financial Director oversees all financial operations and ensures transparent and responsible use of funds.

Director of Science and Research

Dr. Weckmann has an extensive background in research and public health, including six years serving as a professor in health education and prevention, and is responsible for guiding the strategic direction of Arend & Elias research and project activities.

Past President

Mrs. Japin played a pivotal role in founding Arend & Elias and served as its first president, until she stepped down due to health reasons. Throughout her career, she has contributed extensively to public ans women's health, as a healthcare provider, former vice president of the royal Dutch Organization of Midwives (KNOV), former Member of the Dutch National Counsel for Public Health, co-author of the Dutch prevention guide and as vice president of the German Society for Peripartal Health Promotion.
